UNDERSTANDING YOUR CREDITS & BENEFITS

Your WorldMark credits and benefits explained.

Credits are the currency you use to book your WorldMark vacations every year. When you buy credits from the developer, you can opt into benefits that give you more reservation access. Check out the different types of credits and benefits you may have in your account.

Vacation credits

Vacation credits are renewed in your WorldMark account every year on the first day of your anniversary month. Any unused credits will expire after two years on the last day of the month.

Assigned vacation credits

These one-time-use vacation credits are assigned from one owner to another by gift, rental, or otherwise. Assigned vacation credits retain the expiration date assigned to the original owner and do not renew annually.

Fax credits

FAX (Friends And eXtends) credits are vacation credits whose one-time usage rights have been transferred to the developer as payment for alternatives to resort reservations such as a cruise or tour. When credits are transferred, the one-time usage rights of those vacation credits are assigned to the new recipient. However, they maintain the same eligibility and expiration date as shown in the original owner’s account. The developer might use FAX credits to award incentive credits or trial credits.

Incentive credits

These credits, also known as bonus credits, are awarded by WorldMark by Wyndham as a reward for participation in various owner programs such as owner referral, sales incentives, and special owner sweepstakes or promotions. They will expire after one year and do not renew.

Trial credits

These are FAX credits awarded to Discovery members’ accounts for a one-time use at select WorldMark resorts. They have a one-year life and do not renew.

Trade credits

Trade credits are one-time-use credits that do not renew annually. Trade credits expire one year from the date of deposit and have the same booking rights as vacation credits.

Trade credits are deposited into an owner’s account in exchange for:

  • Qualified non-WorldMark inventory made available through the Exchange Plus program.
  • Inventory at Whale Pointe Resort, The Resort at Seaside, or The Resort at South Shore that individuals privately own.
