This sprawling Lake Lure vacation resort is packed with plenty of on-site recreation amenities, letting you customize your experience for the right mix of comfort and excitement. With 2,400 acres of Blue Ridge bliss to explore, there are mountain hideaways and adventures for every enthusiast.

The resort will be undergoing a renovation project from March 2024 to June 2024. During this time, units located in Maple Ridge, the main registration building and common area will be affected. Additionally, noise, dust, odors, and work crews onsite may be encountered. Dates are subject to change.

Please be advised that the local area is a seasonal destination, therefore some amenities and activities are not available through the winter season.
Guests checking in to Maple Ridge may use the regular check-in address for Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains. Guests checking in to Fairways of the Mountains, Foxrun or Mountain Loft will need to check in at Vacation Resorts International, located at 180 Herman Wilson Road, Lake Lure, North Carolina 28746.
Maple Ridge Office hours are 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily. Please contact 828-625-9111 when arriving after closing to secure late check-in instructions.
Fairways of the Mountains, Fox Run and Fox Den Office hours are Mon - Thu 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Fri - Sun 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Please contact 828-625-0097 when arriving after closing to secure late check-in instructions.

Car needed; resort is in a rural campus-like environment with amenities 1-2 miles from suites.
Motorcycles are not permitted.
Most suites have views of the woods; no lake views.
Grocery is approximately 5 miles; other shopping is approximately 20 miles.
A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in.
Some of our suites have multiple stairs on the inside and outside the suite. Maple Ridge 1 bedroom suites require all guests to go down 14 stairs once entering the unit to access the kitchen, master bedroom, and bathroom.
Suites in the Mountain Loft association require up to 25 steps to enter the suite. All suites require steps to the loft area.
Steps outside located at the Foxrun/Foxden association may vary depending on the suite's location. Inside the suite requires up to 17 steps.
Steps to access Fairway of the Mountains suites are minimal. Inside, the suite requires up to 14 steps to access the main areas of the suite on the lower floor.
Service animals that are trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome at all Wyndham Destinations Managed locations. All other animals, trained or untrained, whose sole function is to provide emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companionship do not qualify as service animals and are not permitted at Wyndham Destinations Managed locations.
