WorldMark owners can share in the cost of a reservation by assigning credits from one owner account into another, to be used towards a shared vacation.
Any available vacation credits in an owner's account are eligible to be transferred to another owner account. The owner assigning credits must be current on all maintenance dues, loan payments, and reservation fees, as must the recipient of the credits. Credits from future anniversary years are not eligible for assignment. Per WorldMark, The Club Guidelines, all owners are limited to assigning twice their annual credit amount. This limit applies to credits received via assignment as well. A credit assignment is a one-time transfer of credits from one owner account to another, and does not constitute a permanent transfer of credit ownership. Housekeeping services are not eligible for assignment.
How does this work?
Once two WorldMark owners have agreed to an assignment of credits from one to the other, the owner assigning credits submits a Credit Assignment Request online. Once submitted, the credits will be assigned into the recipient's account within two business days. The credits will appear as Assigned Vacation Credits in the new account, and will retain their original expiration date.
