VacationShare is an online platform that offers you the option to rent out your unused vacation time. If you’ve got a vacation booked that you can’t use, you can list that vacation for rental through VacationShare. VacationShare will handle the marketing, booking, and payment for your reservation, making it easier than ever to rent out your unused vacation time.

For more information on how to register for and use the VacationShare platform, just follow these simple steps.

How to create a VacationShare account.

1. Navigate to the VacationShare portal and click the “Get Started” button to start your registration.

2. Fill out the registration form with your email address and preferred password, and then accept the terms & conditions to continue.

3. On the next page, fill out your name, member number, and club, and then click the “Submit Registration” button to finalize your VacationShare account creation.

4. The status of your new VacationShare account will be listed as “Pending Review” so that your details can be verified for accuracy. This verification may take 72 business hours to complete, at which point your VacationShare account will be activated.

5. You’ll receive an email from VacationShare to let you know when your account is ready for use.

How to list unused vacation time for rental.

1. Sign in to your VacationShare account and click the “Create Listing” button from your dashboard.

2. On the Create Listing page, provide all relevant details, including confirmation number, resort name, unit type, unit number (if applicable), and reservation dates. When the form is completely filled out, click the “Save and Continue” button to proceed.

3. If at any time you decide not to proceed with the listing, click the “Abandon New Listing” button to cancel.

4. On the Listing Benefits page, review the information and click the “Save and Continue.”

5. On the Nightly Rates page, you’ll see a suggested range for reservation rates based on your specific listing. Rates are subject to change based on demand. Click the “Continue” button to proceed.

6. On the Contract Signature page, begin by clicking the blue “Continue” button, then provide all relevant details, including email address (ensure to enter the same email address that you utilized to sign into your VacationShare account), address, phone number, and social security number. You will have the opportunity to sign the contract using a typed-entry field by clicking the highlighted “Click here to sign” field. Once signed, click the blue “Click to Sign” button.

7. Once you sign the agreement, do not refresh the page until you receive a pop-up with a “Congratulations” message. Your listing will now appear on your VacationShare dashboard.

How to cancel a listing.

1. From your VacationShare account dashboard, click the “My Listings” link on the top left side of the page to view your current listings.

2. Select the listing you wish to cancel, and then click the “Request to Cancel” button to initiate the cancellation. Click “OK” when prompted.

3. Your listing cancellation request will be sent to VacationShare for review. You’ll receive an email within 72 business hours letting you know if your request to cancel was approved. Please note that cancellation requests are not guaranteed. VacationShare will assess all relevant criteria before approving or denying a cancellation.

How to archive a listing.

1. From your VacationShare account dashboard, click the “My Listings” link on the top left side of the page to view your current listings.

2. Select the listing you wish to archive, and then click the “Archive” button. Click “OK” when prompted.

3. Once complete, your archived listing will now appear in the Archive folder on the left side of the screen.

How to duplicate a listing.

1. From your VacationShare account dashboard, click the “My Listings” link on the top left side of the page to view your current listings.

2. Select the listing you wish to duplicate, and then click the “Duplicate” button. Click “OK” when prompted.

3. Once complete, your duplicate listing will now appear in the listings on your VacationShare dashboard.
