Martin Hernandez brings to the WorldMark Board of Directors a strong background in public service and business operations. Most recently, Martin was the Chief of Staff for the County of Ventura Third District Supervisor’s Office. Previously, he held the role of Council Member and Mayor for the city of Santa Paula, California.
In his previous roles, he was responsible for handling different budgets including an over half million-dollar budget as Director of the Santa Paula Family Resource Center. Some of his many accomplishments include successfully implementing tax initiatives in Santa Paula, California, and Piru, California. Additionally, he played an instrumental role in the Ventura County Watershed Coalition, receiving an over $55 million grant from the state of California.
Martin has also been a dedicated and effective member of multiple boards. His experience includes: Advisory board member for the Santa Clara Valley Boys and Girls Club; board member of the Interface Children Family Services; board member of the Hansen Trust Advisory Board; board member of the County of Ventura Continuum of Care; board member of the County of Ventura Health Clinics; and board member of the Bear Valley Springs Veteran’s Association.
Martin was first appointed to the WorldMark Board of Directors in 2022. He and his wife, Holly, have been WorldMark owners since 2002. Being owners has given them the opportunity to share their vacations and create memories with their children and grandchildren in many different destinations. Their bucket list vacations include Australia, Canada, and an Alaskan cruise.
