Michael Tacher brings decades of financial, operational, and governance experience to the WorldMark Board of Directors.

Over the course of his career, Michael has advised organizations and individuals across complex tax, finance, and compliance matters, with expertise spanning corporate tax strategy, fiduciary advisory, audit readiness, and financial planning. He has held senior leadership roles across multiple industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and professional services, and is recognized for his ability to navigate highly regulated environments, drive operational discipline, and provide thoughtful, long-term financial stewardship. His experience includes managing complex domestic and international tax matters, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and advising leadership teams through periods of growth and transformation.

A WorldMark owner since 2003, Michael brings a deep personal understanding of the owner experience. Throughout the years, he and his family have traveled extensively through the WorldMark portfolio, using their ownership to create multi-generational memories across destinations throughout the U.S., Canada, and beyond. He is actively engaged in the owner community and values the role WorldMark plays in helping families travel with flexibility, intention, and connection. This experience is especially meaningful to Michael, who values the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for his children and 15 grandchildren.

Michael earned his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University (BYU), a nationally recognized top tax program, and later completed graduate-level coursework at both BYU and Golden Gate University. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, he previously held Series 7 and 63 licenses with FINRA, as well as an insurance license in Washington State. He currently volunteers as a financial director with a large nonprofit organization.
