What is WorldMark, The Club?

WorldMark, The Club owners enjoy access to more than 90 incredible resorts, exclusive benefits, and so much more. But what exactly is “WorldMark, The Club?”

  • A California nonprofit, mutual benefit corporation established in 1989.
  • Responsible for owning, maintaining, and managing the real property that was deeded over to WorldMark, The Club debt-free from the developer, and dedicated for use by its owners.
  • A variety of legal documents established at the onset of WorldMark govern the club, like the bylaws and WorldMark, The Club guidelines.
  • Revenues received from maintenance dues, Bonus Time, and housekeeping fees are used to fund club operations, maintain the properties, and cover taxes and insurance.
  • The club has a $360 million operating budget, a $52 million reserve fund, and oversight responsibilities for assets in 17 states and four countries.
  • A five-member Board of Directors is elected by the owners to oversee the management and business affairs of the club and ensure that it operates in accordance with the governing documents to protect the inherent rights of WorldMark, The Club ownership.
