Recently, your WorldMark Board of Directors approved new guideline updates that will take effect in 2022 and 2023. Here’s an overview of the three upcoming changes, and more details will be shared as they get closer to launch.
To save on mailing costs and be more environmentally friendly, printed reservation confirmation letters are going away beginning January 2022. All confirmations will be emailed, so make sure your account’s email address is up to date. You’ll be able to view and print your confirmation letter online, and, if needed, you’ll be able to resend the confirmation to your email.
The Board is introducing a new guideline called the Nightly Unit Limit to maximize resort availability, creating fair and equitable access to inventory for all owners. The Nightly Unit Limit creates a limit of 10 reservations or 20% of a resort — depending on the size of the resort — that can be booked by a single owner for the same timeframe. This change will be implemented in late 2022 or early 2023.
Beginning January 2022, the Bonus Time program will be simplified to remove the weekend restrictions by calendar quarter rule on the number of Bonus Time reservations you can use. This gives you more access to Bonus Time reservations and the freedom to book vacations on the weekends, when available.
