All fees, one platform: simple & transparent.

As of July 1, 2024, the 'Honest Pricing Law' (SB 478) and 'Resort Fee Statute' (AB 537) in California mandate that all advertised prices include all mandatory fees, enhancing transparency and simplifying the online booking experience. This change does not affect the actual prices but ensures that you see the complete cost of your stay upfront. WorldMark is taking this opportunity to introduce updates to your owner website, boosting its efficiency and user-friendliness.

In July, you may have noticed your vacation guides have been advising the total of any resort and non-governmental fees applicable to your stay, along with any fees incurred during the booking process, before confirming your reservation.

Moving forward, these fees will be listed at your fingertips when booking online including:

  • Transient occupancy tax
  • Governmental taxes
  • Resort fees
  • Non-governmental fees (Club Pass or HOA fees)
What does this mean for you?

These updates are focused on enhancing your experience by making all costs clear and accessible. None of the fees are changing as a result of this process. This transparency allows you to better plan your vacations, so you can kick back, relax, and focus on the upcoming fun. Stay updated on all website enhancements on your owner website.
